Gaming since the BBC Micro. Rational thought and humour are a way of life.My longest running ident has been HypoThermia, which was the first Quake 2 name tag where I felt comfortable playing online PvP. It followed me into Q3 where I did some coding and clan CTF stuff. After I while I found the name already taken, particularly with older and more established games, and so Charybdis was formed. I often go to Greek/Roman mythology when I’m stuck for name.

You’d like me to tell you all about myself, wouldn’t you? I believe it’s better to preserve a little mystery in relationships.
AND STOP STALKING ME.

Half Man, Half Gazelle. All Sun God.
A resident of Second Life since late 2006, I explored, acted, written and roleplayed in the amazing world that Linden Lab opened up and we, the users, created. I loved almost every minute of it but moved out in 2011 to live in the other worlds of Middle Earth & Tyria. More recently I’ve become a mobile gazelle and opened up mining operations in both Minecraft & Survival Craft on my tablet. Diggy diggy hole!

Enjoy life, you have only one!

Firstly, you may call me Gkaruk pronounced j-kar-ruk, not the name I was born with but the name which I have become due to my gaming background, online presence and derived from by favourite TV show Babylon 5 character G’Kar, played by Andreas Katsulas.  The UK suffix comes about due to the online name is usually taken so simply adding my location in the world helped solve this problem.
